#Spreading awareness of creativity, talent development,
sacrifice, and spirit of service, POSCO TJ Park Prize
To ensure that the screening process is fair and transparent and that the POSCO TJ Park Prize's efforts are well-organized, the foundation appoints a Prize Committee, composed of eminent dignitaries who are highly respected by society, for each prize.

Each Prize Committee has a chairman and a maximum of ten committee members.

  • Screening Committee

    The committee identifies suitable candidates based on departmental criteria and selects five times the required number, considering their expertise and sustainability, before presenting them to the selection committee.

  • Selection Committee

    The committee interviews 5x shortlisted candidates with expertise in their fields and selects 1st and 2nd place winners based on the POSCO TJ Park prizes' spirit and national consensus.

The POSCO TJ Park Prize Committee acts independently in regard to all matters related to the operation of the prize.
Roles performed by the committee include;

    Organizing, discussing, and confirming core issues concerning the prize

    Determining candidate's qualification standard and recommending role

  3. 03

    Committee selects award candidates and reports results to the Board of Directors after screening and finding suitable candidates in related fields.
