Eligibility for candidacy

1. 01 Science Prize
   • A Korean scientist who has achieved world-class research achievements in the fields of natural science and engineering in Korea
2. 02 Education Prize
   • A domestic individual or organization who has contributed to the development of education through practical efforts based on creativity and pioneering spirit
3. 03 Community Development and Philanthropy Prize
   • An individual or organization, including Asians, who has practiced neighborly love through solving social problems such as poverty eradication, volunteering, sacrifice, and other acts of public service. (including Asians/organizations)
4. 04 Technology Prize
   • "Domestic individuals or organizations who have contributed to the development of new industries and markets through world-class technology development and commercialization based in Korea
