Achievement

Cho Jin-kyung, head of Center for Teenage Women's Rights, who won the Philanthropy Prize, established the first Teenage Women's Human Rights Center in Korea to support teenagers affected by sexual exploitation, providing counseling and integrated support for the rehabilitation of victims. It has also played a key role in revising the law on sexual protection of children and adolescents in 2020, including the enactment of a special law on prostitution in 2004 through changes in our society's perception of prostitution, legislation to protect victims, and support systems.
